30 cal tracer jackets

Doing a bit of cleaning up and appears I've got a bunch of 30cal tracer jackets with a lead core already in them, IIRC the empty jacket is around 65gr and with core they are 135 gr just tossing out before I make a scrap run. also might some be unformed jacket blanks too
length on the 30's mostly between 1.320-1.330
length on the .22's 0.575

Just a question. Are the jackets copper or gilding metal or are they copper plated steel? I think they could be annealed and turned into flat-base hollow point with the current tip becoming the base. A picture would be helpful.

There appear to be brass with a copper coat , will see about pictures in a bit
