I was given a box of APS-stripped BR-2 primers, but I do not have a tool in which to use them. Has anybody got any experience with using these in the conventional manner? I do have an RCBS hand priming tool for loose primers.

Just remove them from the strips onto a standard flip tray. Use something made of plastic to do so.

I bought a box a while back, was $3 cheaper than plain boxed Cci. I push them out with a pencil. A few extra Seconds to do. Did I mention that I am cheap?

sharpen a chopstick in a pencil sharpener push them out with that. If you hold the strip just right ...push from the outside of the primer onto the top of your flipper tray ( smooth side) this way you don't need to flip them. You get real good at it after 50.
No trouble at all.

I have used a Qtip with the head cut off.
