Finally got to cast up some from my first Mountain Mold. It is a three cavity .30 caliber 160 grain design very much inspired by the Ranch Dog .30 caliber. With the hard alloy I had on hand they come out at 158 grains and the driving bands are .314" with the widest part of the nose .308". Pretty much right on the 160 grain target. It took a bit to get them to come out nice as I was casting them rustic style with a Coleman gas stove, iron pot and dipper in a shipping container at my property. With the cool weather and not so precise control on the 30+ year old camp stove it was hard to get as consistent results as I would expect from a electric pot. This will have to do until the house is built or at least electricity is run to the building site.
