Does anyone know of a mould available for the 38 cal that is elongated to work better in a lever action rifle? I have seen a bullet available comercially but I want to mold my own.

I use the RCBS 38-158-CM in my Marlin M94 and if feeds flawlessly and shoots accurately as well,
I've HP'd one cavity and I keep a can of 1,000 rounds loaded in .38 cases and use it where others would normally use a .22.
Darn fine bullet,/beagle

Could you be talking about the Ray Thompson bullet? Lyman offers it, but I dunno the number offhand. It has two crimp grooves so .38 Special cases can be loaded to approximate .357 Magnum length.

"Snakebite Greasewagon 38 Special Cal 158 grain Big Lube™ six cavity mold."
The first one on the list, there price $82.
I have one for sale, used, if you want it. It shows some slight gauling on the mold top and some
smeers on the spru plate bottom.
It belonged to a decised CAS and good friend. His widow needs the money.
Shoot me a PM we will talk about $'s
