4 Cav brass is nice, but heavy. I do understand the funds issue

That is gonna make some nice bullets.

My first Accurate mould has been languishing on the bench for a couple of weeks now, new NOE mould on the way and another close behind it. May get a chance to play in a couple of weeks.

Gonna get a chance to go out and shoot tomorrow. I'll let you guys know how it does. I'm also taking the new to me T/C Contender in .30-30 along. I loaded up some Sierra 110 HP's and some Speer 130HP's with SR4759. Who knows. I might even get lucky and see a little buck to take home too!

Ten grains of Unique run right around 980-1010fps out of my 5" 29
Very mild recoil compared to the 30-30 Contender!!!!
Very wet, rainy conditions today. not a lot to report other than those big wide meplat .44's hit hard!
The .30-30 with 130gr. Speer HP's off sandbags did about 1.5" for five shots at 28 yards.
Man that 10" barrel has some bark and bite even with reduced loads!!!
No deer today, but a nice soggy trigger time day with my little brother up in the hills.
Came home to a nice hot meal made by the little lady, what more could a guy ask for on a Saturday afternoon?
Oh yeah, the Ducks won too! Sorry UCLA.....
