heck of a deal today

My buddy emailed me yesterday and told me the local gander mountain was have a clearance on guns. I wasnt in any shape for a ride but bucked up and went. I picked up a brand new 1991a1 colt that was marked 799 clearanced to 399 and they had another special where you took 60 bucks off any clearance price. So i walked out of the door with a new colt for just over 350 bucks.

The Colts aren't any better than the others, but there is something intangibly satisfying, seeing the prancing horse on your own slabsides. I usually only have one 1911 at a time (got too many other guns as well) the last two have been Colts, very happy with both. Well done. I paid a lottttttttttttttttttttttttttttt more than that though.

But congrats on a great buy though. And I do believe Colts are special!
