Since BPCR shooters are routinely exposed to lead when casting, loading and shooting you might be interested in the following article just published in NRA's Shooting Sports USA magazine.

What if found much more interesting than the lead article, was the head count of the various championship matches..... Numbers published there don't exactly line up with what we were dictated at the shooters meeting..:?

Yes- I thought that too Don. Also, I have talked with shooters that were at some of these matches and they said they believe the numbers were way down in a few selected events! Not how Dennis portrayed it here.
Sorry Wayne - did not want to :hijack: but could not resist this sore subject.

Everything but description of symptoms. Interesting read but of little value to me.

Not of great value to this board, but good overall read, includes historical incidents of lead poisoning

Yeah, well, I'm a retired telco cable splicer. I go back in the day when we worked with lead sheath cable every day. We had to scrape ,brush oxidation off the outside to solder it back in place .we breathed the dust . We dipped the ends of the cable pairs in a pot of liquid solder to make a solid connection. If this was an actual problem there would literally be thousands of old cable splicers in hospitals.
