I'm looking for a good round that I can cast up for this guy. I already cast for pistol and some rifle boolits but really want a good all around castable boolit for this upper and wanted to see what you guys think.

And here I thought people would be jumping to help and throw in years of wisdom.

Haven't tried any other but happy with this mould. http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/product_info.php?cPath=43&products_id=638. It's the only thing I have run thru my Beowulf.

Here is the load I'm using with IMR 4227. I started with 37 GR which measured 1540 FPS which is darn close to what Quickload defines. Will work yo to 40 to 41 GR once I can get back to the range.

Cartridge : .50 Beowulf
Bullet : .503, 330, NOE 503 GR RF HP

I have used the Lee 440gr in my Beowulf. Smack on both ends.

Best accuracy so far for me with cast has also been the Lee 440, but a member here 06ackley was nice enough to send me out some of those NOE boolits you mentioned to try. No IMR 4227, but I have lil gun, and H110 to play with. Beowulf can be a little tricky because if you are to hot you will shear lugs off the bolt, and to low a charge will collapse the cases because of the rebated rim. The cartridge needs enough of a charge to expand the case, and grab onto the chamber wall. Clean chamber is important too because of this any oil in the chamber will cause collapsed cases. At least that is how it was explained to me.
