Any 929 comments?

Ok I have been saving my pennies and about to make the jump and order a smith 929. One of my gun club members ordered one and it had timing issues right out of the box ,but I havent seen him in months so I dont know what ever happened with it. Im just wondering if anyone else has had any comments on the 929.

I have never handled one, but I have seen as the round count in the cylinder goes up, the reload times seem to also.
