At the Fort Dix Range 14 today. I had an Austrian Werndl M1877 for years But never shot it. It was difficult finding a supply of loading info . Decided to go with Trailboss. I purchased 20 original brass cases from another member and went to work.
using berdan 6.45 mm primer
Loaded 20 grains trailboss behind a 370 Gr cast 43 spanish Boolit Very pleasant surprise , a good group @ 50 yards and Fairly good with Old eyes @ 100 YDS.
Military sights not very good but manageable
Only neck sized the case with an 11mm Gras sizer. I have no dies
Does anyone on this forum shoot this or have had good results with another powder

I had one and used 43 Spanish bullet with couple wraps of paper to bring it up to size. Used a case full of 1F swiss bp. If the trigger pull would have been below 10# I would still have it. I remember some of the brass split when I formed them. LB

Your right, The trigger pull On mine is like pulling a 30 lb weight. It give you a cramp in your finger

Yes !Please! Pictures!I have wanted to play with one of these. They look like innovative actions that might not be too hard to build from scratch with a lathe and talent.
