So this is a result of the bullets I've started casting for my Mosin 91/30. This is at 100 yards, through a red dot site, which is not too accurate, in my experience.
But, if I can do that with my own castings, then it's time to put a scope on that old rifle.
I didn't weigh this batch of bullets, so I think I could get more accurate with some more selective processing on this.
The mold for this is the Lee 312-175, gas checked, and lubed with LLA. The bullets themselves dropped around 180 gr. with COWW lead.

That is some good shooting.
I scoped one of my MN with some 22 rings installed on the reverse dovetail that the rear sight base is soldered on to. There is also a screw in the sight base you might have to drill out. This works much better than the cheap scout scope bases made of aluminum that are being sold for these guns.

Very nice start indeed! Looks like it deserves a scope for sure just to see how accurate it really will shoot, but you did very well with the red dot.
