This weekend I finally got some Hi-Tech coated 38 caliber bullets to run thru the automated star sizer.

The bullets are the 125 grain round nose flat point bullets using a Magma Engineering mold.

The coating is the gold color from Bayou Bullets. The bullets had two thin coats of coating applied.

The star machine required some careful set up for the flat point bullets to feed properly in the Star Machine.

I slowed down the machine by using the two flow control valves so the machine would move slowly at first and ten come up to pressure at near the end of the cycle.

The machine ran fine once it was properly adjusted. It takes a little while and a few minor adjustments to make this bullet feed properly.

Looking good.
I adjust the up stroke to go slower as it doesn't require much force.
I cast mostly FPRN anyway.
