What can you all tell me about this? I just picked up a Dan Wesson in .445 supermag. Just curious what you guys think of the round. I have a 44 mag already, so it seemed nice to have something that can run the same ammo and then some :)

ahh the 44 magnum, magnum.
prepare to throw your other 44 away.

if you got the ported barrel then the heavier bullets/loads actually make it work better [more efficiently]
mine will shoot everything from 44 special up through 315gr home swadged with no issues,, and do it accurately.
once you stoke things up to the top end [with aa-1680] you may want to wear plugs and muffs, it's not as bad as the 375 super but it'll get your attention.

8" not ported. I shot some factory loads of 44 mag out of it and it was pleasant. Well in comparison to my snub nose with a 1.75 " barrel.

10" full underlug - needs wheels, kicks harse, way accurate! I milled off most of the underlug.

If you ever get rid of it you will regret it the rest of your life, I know, I still do.

I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of the snub and just keeping this.
