Was at wallyworld yesterday in another futile quest for the elusive (made of un-obtanium) .22 Lr ammo and it was there in the case: a Rossi Rio Grande .30-30. Normally I would have not have considered it, but, they were selling their last one for a paltry $267 :bigsmyl2:{also gotta love no sales tax}.
was it worth that much:neutral:? time will tell

No idea what it's worth but pretty sure I would have bought it for that even if I didn't need a thutty-thutty at the time. If it doesn't work out I have little doubt you can re-sell it and get your money back.

Nice little 30-30 you got yourself. Should be fun. Save your brass.(:

Dang! $267???? I'd have dislocated my shoulder joint reaching for my wallet. Nice find. Shoot some holes and send us some pictures.
Good job...

I am always a bit scared to go by the gun counter at one of my local Wally Worlds. Seems like they have these "manager special" 30+% plus off sales on selected rifles and they follow me home. Last year it was a Remington 308 bolt gun for $240 including scope that followed me home and I had no earthly use for it but it is certainly a heck of a shooter with cast. I try to avert my eyes as I pass now. Terrible thing!

Oh my!
If having an earthly use for another rifle is a criterion I'm in big trouble:-?.
