I had out my "parts gun" 03A3 this week and what fun. I had wanted to try a 311291 but hoped to try some boolits before plunking down the cash for a mold. I picked up an old single cavity for a few bucks and cast some up from WW+2%. The nose measured .298 which made me doubtful so I did a bunch of lapping and got the nose up to .302 while the body came out .315. I sized some .311 (biggest size die I have) and loaded them over 16 gr 2400. This week, after shooting enough to get the hang of the trigger and settling my nerves, the last group of the day was 5 shots in1 1/2" and 4 of those in 3/4" Yeah I have to shoot more groups but I am well pleased so far!
