10-shots, 100 yards. This is my new MOA clone charger receiver, with a 14.5", chrome moly Fedderson barrel that Rich at MOA Corporation chambered and fit to his MOA receiver. The stock is Rich's as well.
When Chris Rhodes got it nothing else was finished on it or bedded.
My clone charger is the closest one in the pic.
Behind it is Chris' Super-Munk (a single-shot 22), that he customizes as well.
Bayside Custom Gunworks had to relieve some areas in the receiver and he had to grind on the bolt to make it fit.
The stock was way out of tolerance, as it had been over inletted.
Chris Rhodes fixed all of the tolerances with the bolt and the receiver and then bedded the stock to the action. He fit the picatinny rail as well.
He also fitted and aluminum cap on the bottom of the grip for better tracking.
10-shots 22lr @ 100 yards! Chris was doing the shooting.
Subtract caliber=.321
This is no doubt a wallet group, but you need to take them when you can. I just wish it had been me behind the trigger yesterday:mrgreen:
Trigger is a Jewell.
I can't wait to shoot this set-up.
This is my second MOA clone Charger. Chuck McIntosh/Mac's Gunworks got my first one running for me and it is a tack driver as well. I have shot it on steel out to 400 yards and other targets out to 500 yards.

What was used for ammo?

That is the bizarre part of it, Remington Golden (bulk bullets).
Don't expect this to be repeated.
There was no separating of ammo either.
Chris was both lucky and good yesterday.
I will be running it soon with a variety of ammo on steel, and plan to take it out and stretch it's 14.5" barrel and see what it will do.

even with a great shooting rifle/pistol, that is lottery winning luck to get accuracy like that from remingturd ammo. good shootin'!

With this group, "it is better to be lucky than good" (kind of fits here).
A friend of mine (Darrell Holland) has this phrase he uses, "It was his day to look good."
That being said, Chris is a very good shooter.
Not something I say about many folks.
I will let you guys know how a lowly human can shoot, once I start shooting my own clone Charger:mrgreen:
