Just got this a few weeks ago, have not shot it yet but I bet it's going to kick a lot less then my other sharps in 45-70.

I just picked up my Lyman Pedersoli Sharps late yesterday. What a beautiful rifle. Outstanding fit and finish. It's a 45-70 but at 9lbs 5 ozs I don't think the recoil is going to be excessive.

I,ve been looking at that too, after seeing this one I would really like to get that one to go with it. Good luck with it! I'm on the way to the range with this one today!
