I'd be careful about those "Imperial" measurements, the Pedersolli's are all "Metric". So, I would assume the the hole spacing would be as well.

Jeff, I don't know the measurement. However, I do know I got a Parts Unknown sight from Pilgrim when I got my Pedersoli a few years ago. The sight hole spacing matched fine. But of course, maybe PU was metric? I doubt it. They know thier market.
I sure wish I had my old Garrett Sharps back!

:-D Well Rick you could get back into the swing of things in a hurry, there's a guy just posted up a Shiloh LRE 45-90 with Heilman sights on both ends for 2500 in the classifieds at bpcr.net. Claims its been shot less than 200 rnds.

Wouldn't be the same. I had shortened the throat of the hammer about 1/4", and removed the primer block. Replaced all internals with original Sharps parts. Had a heavy Sharon barrel, and a set of business sights that E.G. Smith had worked over for me. Poured nosecap. It was made into a Hartford Business Rifle.
Fooled a lot of people with that rifle. The late Austin Monck thought it was an original, and he probably owned more originals than than any one in the country.
No sense trading down! :Fire:
