Any info on availability of Bob Marvel's new custom pro II? I can't seem to find anything past 2012. The last I read, he was working on a conversion that was supposed to be in the 3/4 inch accuracy range. Any new info would be appreciated.
Thank you,
TZ

Both of my 10-12 year old Marvel units shoot in that range already. Maybe help you make a decision if you cant find exactly what you're searching for

Mine is an early marvel conversion the button with the test group measures .600 at 50 yds. They had a few that year at perry that were under 1/2" also.

Don't quote me on this but I think Bob Marvel sold the first generation design along with the Marvel name. That unit is still being sold. Those units were never questioned for it's accuracy. Many shot under 1/2 ". Things unlinked about the first generation was the slide would not lock back after the last round and the extractor would wear the barrel after many rounds. The second generation is sold under another name Accuracy Arms??

I have a 1st generation marvel kit with over 25,000 rounds down the tube & it's still running strong with no extractor/bbl wear. But it gets fed a steady diet of target ammo (950fps to 1080fps), no bulk blammo ammo or anything hv ammo or the american sv/target ammo (1150fps).

My kit came with a button that was in the .6xx range for 50yds but it will easily do 1/2" or less with lots of eley black box it likes along with better lots of lapua pistol king.

Thank you all, for your responses. I had no idea they were that accurate! Advantage Arms shows the newer generation "in stock", but won't allow advance to cart. Re-direct gives message that item is back ordered, but that credit card won't be processed until shipped. I'll keep checking. I would have thought with a shortage of .22 ammo, that "stock" would be the easy part.
Thank you all again,
TZ

After having owned dozens of different .22s I have always thought the last shot bolt hold open was over rated. It's not a self defense gun for goodness sakes.
