Well after making it through a nightmare real estate deal we have recovered. New home, new life!
Sold off my RB in 43 Spanish before the real estate deal started. Wife promised me a new rifle after everything was said and done.

Well over the weekend I ran across this on GB, Nice, I love Rollers! I bid and won it!!!
This one is set up just like I was wanting, not so sure about the engraved and in the white receiver but if I can get it to shoot good I'll be happy!

45-70 with a badger 34 inch barrel, Ron Snover sights with a Hadley eye piece. Has some nicks and dings but hey if your going to use it, it's going to get bruised!

Can't wait for it to get here!!!

Very nice, Remmy!

I love RBs as well....don't have one, but have decided if I ever get a traditional BPCR, it will be a RB.

Looking forward to the range report!

Looks a bit "banged up" and abused, better send it to me for safe keeping! [smilie=w:

Really nice! You are going to like the Badger barrel. Mine is a 32 inch tube on a Browning 1885.

Nice rifle! I really like the woodwork on that. My personal preference is color case on the receiver, but you can't always get what you want. The downside to the gun is the whole gamut of 45-70 boolits you can work with.

that is a keeper. really nice. cant wait to hear how she shoots and acts with the loads it likes.

is it a Remington that is re-barreled? i second the "you will like the badger barrel" statement.

my old origanal that has the chamber run out to 40-65 ... is very fun but ... mine has tremendous drop at the cheek piece so the scope mounting is going to require an added piece for a good cheek weld or a new stock ... but they sure are keepers and i like mine very much.

Yes it's an original with a rebarrel. It's either a #1 or a 1&1/2. Really won't know till it finds it's way home.

Well she arrived and is home resting comfortably in my hands!! Nicer in person than the pic's!

Kind of interesting as the breech block appears to originally have been for a rim fire. Has a machined firing pin and a bushing. Bore is perfect and action is tight!

This is one of the most fancy'est rifles I have ever owned! Nice feeling! Heres a few more pic's!
