New guy here (when it comes to this)....Where can I get sizing dies for this?

What model is it? Most Lyman's use the same dies as RCBS. Lyman bought out ideal. I've never seen a Lyman/ideal that didn't take the standard dies.

OK, great...I wasn't sure. Thanks

It would help to know the model just to be sure.

It seems to be a smaller unit and there is no # on it.

Does it look like this one?

This is an Ideal #1 and it uses the regular Lyman H&I dies. The RCBS dies supposedly also work, but I have never installed one. They are interchangeable on the newer models though, so they should work.

I use dies like these:
(old style with no O-ring, or newer ones with the O-ring... both work fine)

Very cool! I would love to have one of those old Ideals.

I have a couple of the Ideal #1 lubesizer.
one time I installed a RCBS sizer die, it leaked a lot out of the bottom. The weird thing is, the RCBS die worked leak-free in a Lyman #45. I think it has to do with the bevel machined in the lower portion of the RCBS die and the casting of the #1 must seal farther south on a die than the newer Lyman lubesizers.

I love the #1 for lubing small boolits, because there is lots of finger room. But beware, they have a very light duty handle and linkage...so if the sizing gets difficult, STOP and troubleshoot the problem ! As you can see in the photo below, one of mine has several repairs...they break easily

Good Luck,
Jon
