I am impatiently waiting arrival of a new to me Blackhawk convertible I bought off gunbroker. I had one in 357 for a while in 1969 and loved it but I was dealing in used guns at the time and was made an offer I couldn't refuse. I reasoned thst I could get another at a lower cost, but things changed and my new job didn't allow time for gun dealing. I finaly decided to scratch that lingering itch. Since I cast and load for 38 and 9mm and have accumulated a couple thousand rounds of loaded ammo and lots of brass in the last few years, it seemed I was destined to go for it. Seller wanted a PMO sent to Michigan, which was mailed Monday by snail mail, so hopefully it is on the way to my neighbor/ffl.

I have one. A lot of versatility - 9 mm, .38, .357 mag. - that covers a lot of ground. Hope you enjoy it.

The Ruger Single-Actions are superb handguns..... New Model, Old Model, it doesn't matter. In pure value-for-money, they just can't be beaten.

I lost the last of my Ruger single-actions, an OM Super Blackhawk I'd lived with since 1967, in my recent divorce. However, a good friend will be picking up my "newest" Ruger in Idaho in a couple weeks.... a New Model in .30 Carbine, virtually as-new condition.

This will hopefully mark the reversal of my "single-action fortunes", and Heaven only knows where it will all end. A 7.5" .357 may well be next, as I've ben thinking about exactly that gun and caliber.

I sold my SBH 44 couple weeks ago to my brother. :-( Only still get to shoot anytime; and he will sell back when I am cash flush agin. :-)

I have the .22 .22mag, 45acp .45lc. .38, 357, 9mm and one they didn't intend. The .44/40 .44mag. :D All swap cylinders. Only need a lever action rifle in .22 or .22 mag to have a matching lever for all of them in at least one of their conversions. All of them shoot better than I can.

Blademaster, the 10mm/38-40 is a tough one to find as well. I shot one once but that was the only one I have seen. IIRC, it was a buckeye special.

I think I would FIRE him! Enjoy that ruger! I have a 357 and my 8 year old would kill me dead if I even thought about getting rid of it.

I got it today. UPS delivered it and I got his son to process it for me. I shot it some with 38, 357, and 9mm and love it! I was just plinking at a plastic soda bottle before dark and the 9mm shoots closest to poa with the current sight setting (15 yds,). It's a real pussycat with 9's and is good with full house 357. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with this one.
