I like that idea! Sizing boolits is a PITA!

The idea of using an inverted Lee came from another member here. I just had an idea for the auto drive Friday after work and I didn't want to make any modifications to the press. So it's a different execution.

I really think it would make a good push through case sizer, going to get some dies and try it out.

Wow, that's awesome! Now you just need make one for a Lube-a-matic or Lyman 4500. Or at least, one I can afford.

Hi,
I guess that would be cheaper than an automated STAR???

Hi,

I don't know what one a star cost. I have something like $80 in the lee breech lock and push through die. I bought it shortly after this thread started.

The rest of it was stuff I had on hand (some of it was robbed off of equipment it must go back to). This was more of a proof of concept than a finished product.

I figured I saved $20 on beer yesterday, keeping my hands busy doing something else. Makes the adjusted total $60.

Hi,
Well it sizes but does not lube. However, if you were sizing and then powder coating, you have a sizer cheaper than a $300 STAR and you don't need the lube! Nice set up anyway and opens possibilitys as reloading equipment keeps going up in price!

Yes they are hi-TEK coated bullets but I suppose you could use the Alox that came with the die if you wanted to.

I really didn't need it, I built this one years ago but the new one is faster and doesn't need any air.

A old Dillon carbide 38/357 mag size die with all the decap assy removed makes a perfect push through size die for 380acp. I made a mandril punch for my Mighty Mite and use that on brass fired in a Powder Springs M11 in the go fast mode. ;-) Works great!
