This past weekend I visited a local nautical flee market and found a gentleman selling a lot of casting equipment. He had several lead pots and quite a few molds but mostly those were for various styles of sinkers. Amongst his molds I found this Ideal 311329 SC and snagged it for 10 bucks along with a couple of Lyman ingot molds for 2 bucks apiece. Anyone have any experience with this bullet? Ol' Buffalo Bullet Mold Tables lists it as a 185gr. gas-check spire point. Any info appreciated.

I've had good results with this in 30 cal milsurps. IE 49/56 mas, 36 Mas, 1903, and 1912-61 mauser in 7.62 nato. I size them to .310 for the above rifles. Mark
