.309 - 120 right out of the box . I already have the FR .309 - 117 which drops at .310 . And the bullets have been accurate . See what happens with this investment .Marvin

I too got a new Lee mold today! It is a .429-200, I am in the process of prepping it for it's first casting run.

Well just like RCBS and Lyman Lee missed this time but at less than half the cost to me . Needs to be listed as a 32 caliber mold . Drops at .313 .004 over stated size .001 over allowed over size . But I have a .312 barreled 909 air rifle that the bullets chamber in with out sizing so I will keep it . Marvin

fat beats skinny any day. I would actually be disappointed if I received a production mold that dropped at 309.

The Lee 309-120R shown by the OP is an excellent choice for the 30 Carb. It is very similar to the RCBS design;both can use a gas check if you wish. I use the RCBS in my 30 Carb and in the Ruger revolver for the 30 Carb. I have used it as well in the Ruger with 32-20 cases with good results. Casts easily and even with only a two cavity mold produces a lot of bullets in a short time. LLS

I just got one of these and I can't figure out how to keep the mold blocks aligning right every time..I get maybe 20 keepers out of 100. The rejects are just offset. Tried melting wax onto the pins as I read in the stickies..tried closing while flat on my table. Tightened the hinge bolt as much as comfortable. Still bad. I just found a youtube video saying to close m
lee molds holding them straight vertical, because the weight of the sprue plate can hold the left block uneven. Will try that next.

My 309 -117 FR Lee is a accurate bullet as well and drops at .310 and needs no sizing in my .308 Just wanted to try for another bullet for the .308 . But I ended up with another bullet for my .312 . Marvin
