As FYI for the group, discussion of this new .44-40 bullet from Accurate which shows real promise for old guns with oversized bores, a heeled design which eliminates the tight chamber neck issue. Has been shot in original guns with worn bores from .435 to .441" groove diameter, as well as modern Marlin Microgrooves and Uberti's, all with good results.
