Win 296

Went by my LGS today and there was 6 1lb Win 296 on the shelf. This are slowly getting better as far as availability but prices need to come down a bit.

I was lucky - I bought 16 lbs of 296 a few years ago. Still working my way through it. I only use it in 357 and 44 mag.

If/When I find some Win231, I am going to buy a 8lb keg. That will last me a good long time.

I do know they are the same, seems like I cant find it either around Houston. Have a few local shops that send their powder shipment updates via email, and its never on either of their updates. Another site I am on has a guy with 2 lbs who wants to trade for powder I do have, but he hasn't responded to IM or email.

Me too, but if not, I have plenty of patience to wait until I do find some. I dont get to load a lot right now due to little ones at home. But just now getting into casting to give me something else to do when I am not loading.

I have some 296 also, I guess i had better start using it up, been sitting around for a little while.

Checked at same place today they still had 3 1lb cans. As soon as I see kegs of Bullseye, 2400, and 231 I'm buying.
