This works great in a cast iron skillet for deep-dish pizza -
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
Approx 4 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. Italian seasonings

Mix water, yeast and sugar together. Let sit for a few minutes to activate the yeast. Add salt, oil, and flour. After about 2 c. of flour, add the Italian seasonings. Add the rest, mix well, add more flour if you need to. Let it rest a few minutes, then spread into a well-greased cast iron skillet or pizza stone and add your favorite toppings. Cook until cheese is melted and starting to brown, serve and enjoy!

Pizza Sauce: 15 oz can tomato sauce, 1tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp garlic salt, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 2 TBS Italian Seasoning, 1/2 Cup Parm. Cheese. Just my 2 Cents.

Try Provolone on a pizza. It gives it a new taste.

Add 1/2 tsp. of lemon juice to 94Doug's sauce recipe and you have the supposed secret Pizza Hut sauce recipe.

Couldn't agree more, Mozzarella is for folks who don't know what cheese should feel and taste like.

For an even bigger twist use Asiago.

But then that is me, I like my cheddar at least 2 years old.
