brass is tight going into seating die even case that hasnt been belled a little for cast boolit. booloit is sized at 433. should i try to open up seating die a little to make it a little looser. never had this problem before.

Check the inside of your seating die for build up of bullet lube/ or lead shavings. Removing the threaded adjuster rod will give you more room to clean the inside of the die body. Polish inside of die with 0000 steel wool soaked with bore cleaner or gun oil. Amazing how fast fowling builds up when loading lead bullets. Iron Whittler

I think .433 is too large but I wouldn't expect it to bind. Try a sized, expanded case in the die to see if it fits easily. If it binds, try one sized but not expanded?

Have you tried seating a smaller jacket bullet in this die. Some seaters designed for jacketed bullets will actually size down a larger cast bullet smaller when seating.

RCBS makes a Cowboy die designed for larger cast bullets.

I have two 44 mags that have .433 & .434 cylinder throats in them i use a boolet sized @ .433 dia , i also use a turned down expander assembly ( to .431 dia) from a 45 lc die set . I have no problems.
Perhaps lead/lube build up or your seater die ? or die is on the min side and needs to be opened up some.

gonna try a 45 acp seater until i can find a colt die. my brass is unsized and belled a little to take 433 bullet.

I've never had problems with RCBS dies. I suspect the die is dirty or rusty.

There is your problem. The die is designed to be used after sizing the case. What are you shooting with this big a chamber?

I might suggest resizing the brass.
