45acp Loads

Just thought I would share couple of loads I shot yesterday.
1st target is a lee 230gr RN with 4.3grs of Bullseye.
2nd target is 200gr lee RNFPT 4.4grs of Titegroup.
Both shot at 15 yards. 200gr gonna try few more tenths to tighten her up just a whisker more. All bullets were lubed with the 45/45/10 mixture which I love. Shot out of my new SR1911 first time out with it.

I'd say that your new SR1911 shows a lot of promise with your loads, particularly with that 230 grain projo.

What was your OAL? I had to seat to minimum to get my cast and coated bullets to chamber all the way and not jam the gun up. I had the barrel of my SR1911 throated and now I can seat bullets out to max OAL and they feed and chamber with no probs now. Now all I need to do is get the ambi safety fitted and I'll be all set

I picked up a SR1911 last month and I am impressed. Sweet trigger, shot POA right out of the box and not to fussy about reloads. I'm in love.
