My Miruko-Chester 1873 came in today

First look at my new Winchester 1873 today.
.44-40 of course.
I am impressed, color case is very nice, looks kind of splotchy because of the factory oily gunk all over the rifle.
Wood to metal fit is very good, action is slick and smooth, nicer than the Uberti I handled.
Anyone know what that screw on the top of the receiver is, the one by the dustcover, part of the new firing pin safety?

so just color me as envious. nice ... didnt know they were chambering the new ones in 44WCF ... that IS good news !!!

may i ask the price tag on this dandy shooter?

oh and no idea as to what the screw is for.

cant wait to hear what the barrel slugs out at. also would be interested in the diameter of a fired case after flaring the old crimp out slightly.
