Anyone shooting the NOE 45 230g hp?

Wondering how this bullet performs. Looks like it has a gaping mouth..good. I just got a XDs 45 and want to shoot 230's in it. I have a 220 LBT mold but not hp'd. Anyone have expanded bullet photos and or range report on accuracy? I'll probably cast the carry rounds out of 20-1 mix and shootin' fodder out of my 4ww to 1 lino mix.
I'll be using the same bullet in my full sized 1911's.

I'm shooting it, and accuracy is very good. I cast from 1/25, and expansion was impressive in wet newspapers. Sorry no pics though...perfect mushrooming. I used 231 powder, sized .452 and lubed with BAC. Guns are 1911's and S&W model 25.

I have shot several thousand of them Powder Coated over 5.4 grains of Green Dot. They are accurate out of my EAA but REAL accurate out of my 4595 at 100 yards. They whiz along at 1150 fps out of that 16 inch barrel and hit the gong hard.

Mine cast the small hollow point but they perform very well. Very accurate in all my 1911's.

XDs may have tight chambers requiring a .451" diameter. COL if to long, will have the ogive contacting the rifling, requiring a shorter COL.

I shoot this bullet in a Sig 220, Kimber Classic, and a NM Ruger Blackhawk w/ .45 ACP cylinder. It groups well out of all three and feeds fine in the autos. I have not killed anything with it yet, but it starts expanding quick in a mud pond bank. I hope to take it hog hunting soon.

I'll be ordering the 4 cav with the small hp's. I can always give them my home-made ballistic tip treatment if needed...although the soft mix shouldn't need anything. it's actually 30-1, I mis-stated my own post above.
thanks for all the info. I'd be interested in seeing the results from the hog hunt. That's a good test.
