Just looking for some feedback for the NOE 155 swc in 1911 45acp. I would like to buy this mold for steel challenge matches. This mold would save me about 3 pounds of lead a weekend. I am a little concerned about possible feeding problems. Any info or experience with this boolit would be appreciated.

I have gotten it to feed fine in a full size Kimber. When I started out I seated it with the boolit shoulder just slightly above the case mouth. It would not feed well. I would have 2-3 failures to feed per mag. Seated it out a bit further and it feeds flawlessly now. Id be willing to send you some from my mold. Pm me if your interested and we can discuss specifics.

I love mine. Cuts a nice clean hole in the target. I did have some feeding issues, but found that it didn't like the GI mag.
From my range scrap, the boolit drops at 175 gr.
Wish I'd have bought 2.

I have the Saeco #062 170gr spl (Behn design, V-Max 45) , its a excellent boolet! the col is 1.250 to 1.260 the same as the 068 and just about as accurate as the # 068 200gr swc to at least 25 yards .

Saeco also made the #063 160 gr spl but it proved to be not as accurate as the #062.

Thanks to all for your experiences with this mold. I think this is the mold I am going to try for steel challenge in my 45.

A fellow Bullseye shooting friend used this bullet in competition. He got the feeding issues and the accuracy worked out. To function with a slide mounted red dot, the load was pretty hot. Beware that the increased velocity may bring about other issues that need to be considered.( lead hardness, barrel leading....etc.)
