With the issues I'm having with my first effort at boolit casting, all outlined in another thread, sunshine arrived by USPS this afternoon. My new Star lube/sizer arrived, yeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaa:D

Now if I just had some boolits to size!:(

The only things that Star needs is some parts from lathesmith. Chris does great work, and having a separate lock-nutted punch for each boolit really speeds setup time.

Serious pistol shooters have a Dillon (or equivalent press,) a bunch of multi cavity moulds and a Star.

Read up everything you can find on the Star. Getting it adjusted can drive you to profanity; but once you learn its quirks, it's show time.
