I just found some old lead tinsel in a garage can any one tell me the alloy?

I think it is but I just got it and haven't messed with it yet ,it is still in the box,it looks like the stuff we used when I was a kid back in the sixty's.The box feels about 1 lb.

Kinda hard to tell on the forum
probably best way is to melt some down and use a thermometer to track at what temp it melts. The more alloy or other than lead content the lower the melting point.

What? Did you find 500 pounds of it? Toss it in a pot with your other scrap and pretend it's pure.
