ammo box for .357 rem max?
The title says it all. What do you use?
Thanks.
I have two original boxes. I also find that they just barely fit in some 223 rem boxes.

many years back i reloaded commercially here in town and my 223 boxes are 50ct. that's what i use. we used to buy the generic ammo boxes from midway, not sure they have them any more, might go check...tx.

also the plastic flip top ones for .243 should work out...also on midwayusa...tx.
You might look at the boxes set up for 7.62X39 or PPC rounds.
The next box to look at would be the shortest recommended for the .35 Remington.

I'll have to check, but the MTM slip top 20 round boxes for .223 is what I use. Don't know about the higher capacity boxes. I store them primer up. Added a foam insert in the top to keep them from rattling.

I also use a 50ct 223 case. That's all I had on hand at the time so I haven't looked for anything else yet. I would like to have the primers down though. Just a personal picky thing. I also prefer a hinged top rather than the "living " hinge some have. those have a tendency to slowly close somewhat on ya.

I agree with primers down; but it's force of habit from 9mm! If I put those primer down, I'd have to spill them out of the box to remove them. Storing the cases primer up does keep stuff out of the brass.
