I got a camera to look in my barrels. here are some pictures.

My Knight. Not much to see since you can take out the plug but I added it.
As a recap, the Renegades are Green Mountain Stainless 1-28 twist barrels.

One thing I saw is the two trigger gun has the flash hole that goes straight into the powder. The single trigger gun it enters more on the side. I can't help but wonder why and if it makes a difference. One thing is for sure it is a fun new toy to play with.

Is that chatter marks on the rifling on the Knight Barrel? The one blued one I looked at was 10x's worse.

Like bore scopes they are very cool. Can be a great tool but you see things (that until you saw them) that never were a problem before.:bigsmyl2:

I have a bore scope but I have long since learned that some people can't be allowed to look through them.

No I think the light makes it look like that. The barrel is smooth as glass.

Here are some pictures of a new barrel never shot. This one is a Green Mountain 45 1-30 twist 1" for a Renegade Stainless.

Great pics and wonderful camera. Good tools for those in the know but I agree there are some who don't need to know what their bores look like.

LOL ... I would be one of those folks that needs to stay blissfully ignorant on some things. my barrels all seem to shoot well enough for me and if i could ... i would soon be impatient with them and NEED to do some sorta **** that really dont need done.

that is a very cool toy tho. Ron i would guess that you will get an education with that new tool. maybe you already know what you will see but if not ... carefull bubba ... it very well may cost you a large sum of cash ... LOL

Yeah, now I've got to get me one of those cameras; not just for rifle bores, but all kinds of home improvement projects where I can look behind stuff.
