Hi,
Thanks for the link! I presently use a S&W MP Shield in 9mm. It is surprising how good these little poly pistols shoot with a 3" barrel and how reliable they are!

The XD looks like a nice pistol and it coming in a 45 is great! I will have to look at one at my LGS!

I liked my XDs .45ACP before it went back to the factory. Not so much when I got it back months later. I now carry an XDm 3.8 and am happy with it.

Seems like a solid review.

The recoil took me a little to get used to but after a few magazines it was not that noticeable.

love my XDs on my side now have it with me 24/7 shoots great and it shoots cast boolits with zero leading if your looking at
getting one i would get the 4" barreled one also it just disappears under a t-shirt. i also have the XDm sc in 9mm shoots
way better but i have lots of leading with it still working on that.

I love the Springfield XD's and have several. I'd like to get an XDs too but my Glock 36 is a real nice CC companion so I think I'll have to pass on the XDs for now anyway...
