Didn't know where else to post this bit last night and this morning I've made about 9 posts but my count is stuck on 547, is it just my bad luck with tech or is there a problem?

I noticed that in my thread in the Gunsmith section with pics of my I frame my post count was stuck and the same on about four posts. It's not just the S&S section.

Funny, I checked that thread. Before it was stuck on 7,004. Today the same posts are stuck on 7,011!

I have been noticing things that might be related.
Views!
I believe the new software version just updates views and post counts periodically, rather than every time they change.
I kind of get a kick out of posting something wild and then watching to see when other members notice it. It used to be that the views would increment up as members read the post and it saw a new and unique user ID. Now it updates every little while and the views might go up by 10 or more when it updates.
I posted the same identical thread in both Swapping & Selling (S&S) and in Helping Hands (H squared or H2) and I watched to see what happened. It was about 10 minutes before the views updated. It appeared both threads updated at the same time. Helping Hands only had about 60% of the views that Swapping and Selling had at first. On later updates, S&S had double the views as H2, but S&S had a lot more replies.

Who looks at post count numbers?
Edit: Just realized I can't see post counts through Tapatalk. I used to be able to on one of the old builds. Now I'm on the newest one and a lot of things are missing.

grandfather clause
OK guys as most of you know by now there was a change implemented to the S&S rules from 30 days or 25 posts to 30 days AND 25 posts. Now what this means is that all new members from the change date (Aug 8 2011) need 30 days And 25 posts, members before that date are grandfathered so they may still sell with less than the 25 posts needed This is the why. There are members here from very early on in the life of this forum that have very few posts. They and any one else here had any idea that there was going to be a rule change to the 30 days and 25 post rule on Aug 8th 2011 so why penalize them? It would be the same as a new law saying we can no longer own fire arms but every one who does at this time may continue IE thats "grandfatherd". Just because some one joined in April of 2011 and has 12 posts he still met the requirement for selling at that time and still does. I sincerely hope this clears this up. steve k S&S moderator
Coyote you are OK to post, http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?143190-grandfather-clause

Doesn't change the fact that I still have 7 posts down in my pic thread in Gunsmithing now all numbered 7015. Something isn't working still.
The only forum that I am a member of is Cast Boolits. I don't read other forums. I'm not forum savvy. So, seriously, what's the big deal with post counts? (I know and understand the Swappin' and Sellin' post count requirements.)

It seem to just update randomly, not a big deal I just have such bad luck with technology and if its like my life evil devil truck on thing not working,is post counter will lead to.system wide absolute destruction in about 39 seconds.

It's a good thing it doesn't just count useful posts. I'd be down to around fifty (maybe).

All of your posts will have the same number as it doesn't number each comment, but counts them.

Post counts??????
There are some on here that directly relate the number of posts to gun and reloading knowlege.
Sad.
I do not pay any attention to it. Content is more important than quantity.

I noticed sometimes it will not update until your refresh the site, like "forum actions.......mark forums read" or start over.
Yet some areas give instant change feedback when you post the reply.
Never even watched it before.............now I am looking.
