I bought the thing even though I'm not a lefyt because it was so beautiful.looks like a Davis large siler lock but i am not sure.whoever built this thing put a lot of care into it.
any input on this would be helpful style, perio, etc.

Oh everything you need to know about it should be stamped. On the barrel.

You'll most likely have to take it apart to find the info.

it's got quite a bit of cast off built in for a lefty but I'm going to try shooting it tomorrow.if it doesn't fit or it becomes awkward at least I will have a good trade for a right handed gun.

It will never fit you shooting it wrong handed, not to worry though, I just happen to know somebody it will fit. Caliber and price please. lol

Its a .54.just trade me straight across for right handed version of it and we'll be good.

The only right handed one I on is not a rock lock and hasn't even arrived yet, but it is a far cry from your rifle too. lol

My son borrowed my 338 mag lefty today, mentioned something about he should own it. lol I mentioned what it would cost him if he didn't take awful good care of it. lol
