Hello Men, a while ago there was a thread about
"What is your dog worth to you "
I read the post but didn't add anything cause I was not sure what to say cause my two dogs are family to us and I new some day I would be faced with some kind of problem. As so many of you know Julie and I are always two shades below broke and now we are faced with yet another problem.

About two weeks or so ago I noticed one of Ashly's nipples was quite enlarged
and Julie found two nodules in her mammary gland.
We took her to the traveling Vet that visits our area and she said to watch it and if it didn't go away we had to take her to a vet.

Well they didn't go away and now we have an appointment in Turner Maine on Tuesday morning 100+ mile round trip. Our friend Pat the Lady who lost her husband about 7 months ago ( my friend Richard ) gave us the money for gas and the 42$$ for the Vet visit.

If Ashly needs surgery it's going to be very difficult for us, very.
We do not belong to Face book, but Julie put up a notice on this thing called go fund me, it's a place on the net that people go to and help other people in need.

So what I am asking is if any of you folks are on face book could you please share this information with your friends and perhaps send them the link to Ashly's go fund me page.

This would mean a whole lot to us, and would really help our dog.
I think the odds are that she will need some kind of something done to remove the cysts in the mammary gland, I say cysts and I pray that is all it is.

Men this is the link, and thank you for reading this.

Keep us posted - they really are part of the family. I don't do face book, but some friends who do promised to pass this on.

Graywolf hope all turns out well for your dog. I know the feeling, wife and I was talking about we may need to put down our Gr. Pry guard dog. Went down to feed him and found him in the field dead. Just part of owning animals, it is still hard. Max was 14 yr and wenever lost a goat to preditors. You just have to do the best you can with it all and hope for the best results posible. Good luck!!

I have lived with and raised malamutes for the last 20 years, they are wonderful dogs.
I committed 100.00 for her cause, if more members chip in we can pay for the surgery.
good luck!!

*Mine have cysts and have had surgery for such and often they do come back, malamutes seem susceptible to these.

Shared on facebok and twitter. Bet I can do right now, facing my own cash crunch to try and get my garage fixed. Got hit bad by medical bills last 2 months.

Julie Sam

How about a name and address that folks can use to help a faithful pet and family member?
