I just got a bullet puller and am trying to figure out the manufacturer.
The only markings on it are 12.7 M M. which converts to .5
Ive searched all over the net and cant find one that looks the same.
Its 1 1/2-12 threads and the collet has an index screw machined in it so the collet cant rotate. Storage room in the center of the die for the handle.
It seems to me that it might be a Hollywood but cant see them marking anything metric. The knurls are similar to a Hollywood shot shell die that I have and also the guide screw is like my Hollywood powder measure.
In the end I have no idea who makes it but would love to know anything about it.

Looks to be very similar in style to the RCBS 50 caliber bullet puller (5th one down on the page) (http://www.a2zoutdoors.com/rcbs_case_prep.htm).

Could also be someone's homemade version of the same. I make copies in my shop for my own use rather than spend the bucks....

The collet appears to be very similar to an R-8 mill collet. This leads me to believe that it is home made.

I dont think its the RCBS unit just by the two sets of knurl. It could be home made but it looks to be very nice machine work.
I did a quick search of R8 collets and there are many in that size but i didnt see any with the serrations like mine. Collet is threaded 5/8-18

Thanks for the replays guys

Looks like an R-8 mill collet. You can buy serrated collets or you can cut the serrations by tightening the collet down on shims in the slots. That collet holder would handle almost any bullet size with a new collet.
