106 pounds of range scrap, 15 pounds of COWW and 40 pounds of previously poured ingots. Then I'm melting it all back down in 4 batches and re-pouring it all. That ought to homogenize it all I think. Who cares that it's almost 100° outside?! Yeah, I'm crazy.

Well, I'm done. I poured 120 ingots for a total weight of almost 120 pounds of casting ready alloy. :castmine:http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy258/websterzdesign/Mobile%20Uploads/20140822_135758.jpg

Very nice. I did some yesterday, sheets of lead roofing. Hotter than its been all summer, very mild this year. Wife said she thinks my butter slid off my biscut. Yip, we are a little nutty I reckon but needed to get it done. The ruger old army needs to bark ! Thanks for sharing

I'm darn glad to have it all done. When we get our motorized sifter finished and start really pulling the lead out of the ground at the old shooting range I'll have to run batches like that two or three times a week to keep on top of things. I need to build more molds!

I got in 4000 rounds of .40 S&W brass yesterday so most of that pile is earmarked for 175 grain pills. :-)

Thats a nice days work! I have 600-800#of coww to sort and smelt. Just been too busy with work, although the temps have been lower than normal. I really need to get those buckets and boxes out of the floor.Maybe if a few more of you guys post up some smelting pics in will give me the incentive to do mine!:?

A few paper thin slivers of pine I cut off some tomato stakes. I was using them for flux until I got a trash can full of sawdust to use instead.
