I know this is one that is sought hard by many. I already have one or I'd get it. Buy it now price is $59 which seems awful good to me, someone should grab this.

Glad I could help. It popped up as one of those "because you were interested in this item" things and I couldn't believe no one was bidding on it.

Yes. As hot in demand as it seems to be, I wonder why Lyman doesn't reintroduce it?? I never got it to shoot very well in my 700 in .35 Whelen. I have since traded off the rifle, but would like to try that bullet in a .35 Whelen Handi rifle I have now and maybe someday in my .358 Savage 99 if I ever get drawn for an elk tag here.

For the record, I wasn't the seller of that mold, nor do I have any idea who it is. Just seemed like too good a deal not to pass on to someone here.

I was out bid on Ebay a few times last winter, the going bids were between $95 and $107 for used molds. When I saw "new", I couldn't hit the buttons fast enough! Buck fever over a mold! Then shock over the experience, whew!

Thanks again, richhodg66! You made the little kid in me very happy! Can't wait, should be here on Tuesday.

I've been working with a NEI 358 282GC that drops from the mold at 301gr with COWW/2% Sn. So far, I've just got good hunting accuracy from it (<2"/100 yds/1950 FPS). I'm looking for <1" and 2300 FPS.

I'm going to follow 35 shooter's lead on this boolit, he's recently started a great thread on using it with IMR4350.

Yodogsandman i hope that mould pours the perfect boolit for you!
BTW i think my brother has settled on aa 4350 in his h&r 35 whelen with the 358009 boolit.

When I was little, on Christmas Eve, the guy on the B & W TV would break in every 1/2 hour or so and tell all us good little boys where Santa was delivering his gifts around the world.

Now, I keep clickin" on the tracking number (delivery updated to Monday).

LOL i bet that old song "monday monday" has been playing in your head all weekend! Now you've got to get the NOE 358009 to go with it so you can tell me which one shoots best!

I have to temper my excitement! I'm testing too many calibers and molds...too much to do. Bear season starts next week, archery deer starts in 3 weeks and the fall run of stripers are almost here. Then muzzle loader deer and the regular deer season, whew! Hope you guys don't mind if I just fondle it for awhile...that's all I have time for!
