I am looking for some good reduced .35 Rem loads using Unique, 2400 or WC820 and 180-200 gn boolits.

I shoot these in 30-30 and .44 mag but have not seen anything on .35 Rem. Will these powders work?

Thanks,

Bigscot

Add about 5 grains of 2400 to your 30-30 load for use in the 35 rem. Play around that load in 1 grain increments back and forth with boolit of choice. ... felix

I use the lighter 35 cal pistol/revolver bullets for reduced loads in the 35 Rem. Unique and 2400 will work quite well with those bullets. My favorite reduced load is the Lee 358-120-TC over 5 gr of Bullseye. Runs 1168 fps out of the 26" barre of my rifle. Marvelously accurate.

15 grains of 2400 and a cast 158 grain pistol bullet works fine.

The lyman cast bullet handbook has quite a few slower loads for 150 grainers

9 grains of unique and the lyman 358429/357446 copy, have served well for me never chronied them, but should be around 1300 fps. Nice powder puff load, and accurate out to 100yds or so. This is in a pre-micro 336 marlin.

From Lyman's 45th Edition: For 35 Rem/206 gr. cast
Unique 9 gr for 1312 fps - Max. 12 gr. for 1545
2400 14 gr for 1125 fps - Max. 20 gr. for 1712

Remember, this is dated data and 2400 is supposed to be a bit faster these days. Regards, Woody
