If you know of a boolit that was either designed by Horace Kephart or is identified in a catalog as a "Kephart Design", please chime up with the boolit number and what catalog or handbook it shows up in.

As I was listing some Kephard design boolits, I saw a pattern, of sorts. It seemed that Kephart designs are in the low 200s (at least in the 1926 (?) catalog).

I bet there are more "Dirt scrapers / catchers" out there, just a matter of reviewing everything...

Added the data from jrmartin1964 (http://castboolits.gunloads.com/member.php?32631-jrmartin1964) and the 257231, 311241

My collection of Ideal Handbooks is somewhat spotty for the years between 1898 and 1916 (I am missing No.11 thru 13, No.16, and No.18 thru 21), but I have listed the Horace Kephart designs I am aware of and the earliest Handbook in my possession in which each appears. Also, I have included the cartridge for which the Handbooks state the design was originally intended. Also note that many of the designs were available in two weights.

Ideal Handbook No.14 (1902)
No.285202 - 84 and 120 grains - 7 m/m Mauser
No.317204 - 130 and 180 grains - 8 m/m Mannlicher
No.308206 - 125 and 170 grains - .30 U.S. Army
No.311207 - 124 and 170 grains - .303 British

Ideal Handbook No.17 (1906)
No.338237 - 145 and 195 grains - .33 Winchester
No.358238 - 165 and 220 grains - .35 Winchester
No.412263 - 300 grains - .405 Winchester
No.257283 - 85 grains - .25/20 Winchester

Ideal Handbook No.22 (1911)
No.266324 - 115 grains - 6.5 m/m Mannlicher-Schoenauer

No.244203 - 65 and 95 grains - 6 m/m U.S. Navy; this one certainly looks like a Kephart design, but is not identified as such in the Ideal Handbooks.
No.308234 - 72 and 136 grains - no cartridge specified; designed by E. P. Armstrong, as stated in Ideal Handbook No.15 (1903).
