Dixie has a couple open-top walker holsters listed. a pretty fancy one for 180 bucks & a slim-jim for 70.

You could take that flap holster to a shoe repair shop and have them sew the flap over backwards and make a slim jim out of it.

Good post. That is the exact holster I used for my two Walkers. I took them to a shoe repair shop and had the guy remove the snaps and straps and sew the belt loop part onto the back of the holster (rather than rely on the snaps to hold the belt loop part). They made adequate "slim jim" style holsters for Cowboy Action matches.

I went ahead & got the flap holster from Sportmans they were closing them out.I have been
told the walker holster are not the same as the dragoons.I know the dragoon is a bit smaller.
Anyway the one I ordered I plan to modify it as you did yours.Thanks again fellows, you

I saw a nylon one for a blackhawk, that might be big enough. I can go by the shop with my walker if you don't have the ability.
