Weak moment

I had one this morning. Some of you may recall that I have been threatening to buy 45-70 and 500SW barrels for one of my Handi-Rifles for some time. Jes too sorry to get off my ax and do it. Plain and simple.

My main gun dealer has changed locations, still in the process. Paid him a visit this morning. Three times more room, laying it all out real well. The boy had a lot of guns in the old location, now he has prolly three times as many.

I pulled out my (I'm mighty proud for you, I'm gonna help you move these guns, pat on the back) face, put it on, and went to work. Walked out with another Handi, 45-70, $216 OTD. Ordering the barrel would have cost me $112, plus my shipping cost to the factory. So...this is Handi #3. I thank I a get over it.

Something else to reload for. Did'nt buy any ammo for it. So he gave 5 rounds of Hornady Leverevolution for it! Felt sorry for me I reckon! :wink: I ain't, will not, pay $1.50 for a 45-70 round.

IF I could come across one 216 bucks OTD I would have to make it a home also . . . specially if it were a 45-70.

All that because there are three barrels I want for that gun.

Oh no, wait the safe is FULL NOW . . .ok, there are a couple I would part with.

I understand. My wife and I have two safes already. When I tell her we can't get any more guns (jokingly, of course) she says "No, no! We just need another safe!" Have you got any clues why I married this wonderful lady?
