The expander button that Dillon ships on their .308 rifle dies is .308. They do not carry any other size buttons.
Does anyone know of a solution? I would like to have a .310 expander for loading cast bullets. Will any other brands like Foster fit on the dillon depriming spindle?
Will a Hornady or Foster depriming spindle fit in a dillon die body?
In the archive, I found a post by Larry Gibson on how to set up a 550 with a Lyman M die in the first position to bell and size necks, assuming that you are using fully processed brass that has been sized, primed and de-lubed in a seperate operation.
"If you size, delube, inspect If you size, delube, inspect case and clean primer pockets seperately;
Station #1; M-die
Station #2 dispence powder
Station #3; seat bullet
Station #4; crimp, if necessary
That's how I do it and it works very well."
It would have taken me some time to figure than one out. Thanks Larry.
