Have been looking to get some 50 cal ball-etts for a year now, tried the big online places, had my LGS try ordering some, no luck! Been using them in both fast and slow twist front stuffers for years w/ great results, and a box of 50 is about $14 or so. Now I am about out- anybody know who might still carry 'em?

I have had good luck with them in various rifles, slow an fast twist. I buddy of mines boy killed 3 deer in 3 years with them, most shots under 50yds, all died in sight! You might try Dixie Gun works.

I have tried Dixie, Track of the wolf, couple others. Listed on the sites, but come up as unavailable when you place the order- looked on Hornady, don't see anything in 50 cal. Really like 'em ;low cost, accurate, easy to load. A bit more "oomph" than a round ball, no patch needed.

Try the Hornady PA http://www.hornady.com/store/50-Cal-240-gr-PA-Conical/. They are very similar.
